Stevie Nicks' Trouble In Shangri-La Debuts At #5 On Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart

Fans of Warner Brothers/Reprise recording artist Stevie Nicks have shown how passionate they are about the seminal rock chanteuse as her first studio album in nearly seven years, Trouble In Shangri-La, tops the charts this week, debuting at #5 on Billboard's coveted Top 200 Albums chart with 109,000 copies sold.

Marking Nicks' return to the solo spotlight, Shangri-La is chock full of her signature musical stylings and introspective lyrics. The album also features such superstar guest artists as: the Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines, who appears for a duet on "Too Far from Texas''; Macy Gray, who backs Nicks on the gutsy soul track "Bombay Sapphires''; Sarah McLachlan, who graces the dreamy piano ballad "Love Is''; and Sheryl Crow, who adds her sultry voice and guitar to "Sorcerer.''

Recently, Nicks performed "Fall From Grace,'' the first single from Trouble in Shangri-La, to a standing ovation during the 2001 Blockbuster Entertainment Awards in April, and has already begun rehearsals for a concert tour that's slated to kick off in late June.

For anyone who appreciates sound quality, listening to the Audio DVD 5.1 Surround Sound is an incredible experience.

Blue Man Group is no stranger to the world of music, as it has always played an integral and necessary role in their theatrical productions. They have shared their original music with live audiences, including opening for Beck in Los Angeles at the "This Ain't No Picnic'' festival. They were most recently seen by millions of viewers worldwide during the 2001 Grammy Awards when they performed with Moby and Jill Scott. The captivating collective performance was the talk of the event and brought the music industry to their feet, literally!

Blue Man Group is no stranger to television. They have been on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'' ten times, "Live with Regis'' six times, and CNN's "World Beat'' twice. Even Frankie Muniz, the lead character in the TV smash "Malcolm in the Middle'' wants to be a Blue Man. He was given that chance, which was highlighted on Frankie's recent "Tonight Show'' appearance. And, of course, who hasn't seen the refreshingly innovative Intel commercials featuring the music of Blue Man Group?

Fans will get a chance to encounter Blue Man Group music again live on June 16, when they take the stage in front of over 50,000 screaming fans at the Los Angeles radio event, "Wango Tango,'' joining such music icons as Ricky Martin and the Backstreet Boys. For travelers and residents of Las Vegas, Boston, Chicago, and New York, the theatrical productions are consistently selling out, and in Vegas selling out over two months in advance. For the rest of the country and the world, you will soon get the next taste of Blue Man Group's original, inventive, and infectious grooviness as a new album is currently in the works.

Whether you are a concert-goer, a record buyer, an audiophile, a TV watcher, a theater buff, a sports fan, or a manufacturer of PVC pipe, you have seen and heard the Blue Man Group. Lucinda Williams

Lucinda Williams' sixth album is highly anticipated, following her Gold 1998 Grammy-winning Car Wheels on a Gravel Road. Essence, a collaboration with Charlie Sexton and Bo Ramsey, is more than worthy of taking Williams to the next level, with a blend of outstanding songs, performances and production. An artist of undisputed musical integrity with a career filled with critical applause, Williams is poised to again garner praises from both fans and media.

Touring through the summer to support the single album, Williams begins with the New Orleans Jazzfest 5/03 on to Nashville's River Stages with Bob Dylan, a June 4th booking on Letterman, etc. The first single "Essence" goes to radio for a 4/16 impact date.

Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood's new "Inside Out" collection comes in the wake of Real Live Woman, an album that earned her two Grammy Award nominations and more fan mail than she has ever received. Inside Out finds the silver-voiced singer collaborating with Vince Gill, Kim Richey and Andrew Gold as her harmony partners. Her remake of the classic "Seven Year Ache" is a duet with Rosanne Cash, the song's writer and originator. Another highlight is her reunion on "Inside Out" with Don Henley, who harmonized so memorably with Trisha Yearwood on "Walkaway Joe."

The new album has already spawned a hit single, the inspirational, no-regrets ballad "I Would Have Loved You Anyway." The video, filmed in Spain, has become an instant favorite on both CMT and GAC.

Foxy Brown

On June 5th, armed with the success of her multiplatinum first album and platinum sophomore effort, Foxy Brown will emerge from her 2 year hiatus with a third album, "Broken Silence."
This album is Foxy's most personal album to date, chronicling Foxy's personal experiences and relationships. On "Broken Silence", Foxy Brown collaborates with a foray of producers and peers such as Ronald Isley, Mystikal, Capone & Noreaga, Jadakiss, etc.
The first single, "BK Anthem," is a tribute to the streets of Brooklyn that helped raise Foxy and many of today's most talented MCs. This single has already taken over the airwaves and has heads nodding everywhere in anticipation of the rap diva's long awaited album release.
June 5th...the wait is over and Broken Silence will prove to be the perfect vehicle to take Foxy Brown to yet another level!
