In 2005, Mr. Freni was named the first President of Commodore International Corporation previous Yeahronimo Media Venturese in Los Angeles, CA, after merging 2 Dutch-based companies in a cross-border organization. Tasked with building corporate infrastructure, business blueprints, and marketing plans, he successfully overcame the emotional difficulties that often follow a merger to set up corporate headquarters and select senior management. Simultaneous with raising monies, attracting global business partners, and adding shareholder value to become a full-service provider of digital media and content distribution, Mr. Freni directed the reversed takeover of Tensleep Technologies, growing company market share substantially. Previously, Mr. Freni provided general management, consulting, and administrative services to various companies as President of Keymedia Management, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment Industry Media Ventures. In these roles, he built and managed multinational teams assisting companies with turnaround operations, funding sources, and dismantling plans. While consistently achieving financial objectives and superior levels of client satisfaction, he realized the return of lost investments for individual investors in distressed companies and spearheaded initiatives addressing service quality and employee productivity. He built a portfolio that included SRS Industries, Jaytown, PerformPlace.com, Resumation.com, SATXS Communications, and Trendies Magazine and established strategic partnerships with IBM, Lotus, Coextant, and Exhibitor Relations. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Freni served as President of Imecom NV, a high-end consulting firm for European and U.S. entertainment and media companies. Here he was directly involved in strategic advising for international expansion and business/marketing plans, TV and film program acquisition, multinational co-productions, library valuation and asset sales, film product financing, and transactional multi-picture and international distribution deals. In only 3 years, he closed contracts worth $85 million with clients including Bertelsmann Publishing, T1 Interactive, Pearson UK and USA, All American Television, Endemol, Nordisk, Ravensburger, Codim Interactive, Hasbro, Script Howard, and Allen & Co. Prior to his tenure at Imecom, Mr. Freni owned executive-level responsibility for a $1 billion multimedia platform as a Senior Vice President at Philips Media, Europe. From 1990 to 1995, he managed production and marketing units across Central Europe creating innovative CDI and interactive software supported by a $500 million worldwide marketing campaign. Key achievements included the consolidation of production assets, financing, and marketing and distribution oversight to create joint ventures with large European media corporations. While launching his career in the film industry in Belgium, Mr. Freni served as a Senior Vice President at Media Development, an animation production and distribution company. Here he cultivated worldwide partnerships and funding alliances with governmental institutions to fuel expansion into Benelux, Canada, the US, and the Far East between 1998 and 1990. From 1983 to 1988, he founded and led Luminia Films, which ranked 2 nd in home video distribution across Benelux and parts of Germany. Mr. Freni holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing & Business and a Marketing Degree Nima A, B, C from ISW, and he is an Accredited Exec in Personnel.
